Description

This is a portrait of my boyfriend and me, we were visiting Scheveningen
and he decided we needed a more recent picture of us.
I like this picture a lot, so that's one of the reasons, why I decided
that I needed to pixel it too..

Everything is all baseless, I changed my own hair though :3
It was way too weird on the picture, so I made it loose instead of
in a ponytail.

This is beautifully done. At first I actually did think it was a photo. The shading on both the subjects and the background are spot on. I especially like the texture you used for the clothing, the ocean and the buildings.

I can tell that you changed the hair from the photo. I think it's because the shading you used there has much more contrast than the shading on the rest of the subject. I think maybe if you brought the values of the shadows and highlights closer together it would match the photo realistic quality of the rest of the image.
